    Overview

Discover for yourself why Queens College (QC) is the college of your future. With over 60 undergraduate programs ranging across the arts, business, education, social sciences, STEM, and more, Queens College will give you the solid foundation needed to reach your goals.

Founded in 1937, Queens College is approaching its ninth of offering a first-rate education to talented people of all backgrounds and financial means. QC students learn from the best, immersed in the nation's brightest city.

The college awards bachelor’s and master’s degrees in over 170 areas across schools of Arts and Humanities, Business, Education, Library and Information Studies, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences, as well as the Aaron Copland School of Music and the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Queens College participates in The City University of New York’s (CUNY) Macaulay Honors College; qualified students are eligible for scholarships and honors programs. Some of QC’s most popular undergraduate majors are accounting, biology, computer science, economics, and psychology. Top graduate programs include accounting, early childhood education, library science, special education, and TESOL.

A QC education will empower you, not crush you under student debt. More than 60 percent of full-time undergraduates receive need-based aid, and 90 percent of students who enter as freshmen and graduate within four years earn their degrees without taking federal student loans.

QC has more than 100 student organizations and participates in Division II athletics. The college has tennis courts, a renovated Olympic-size pool, and a fitness center as well as a track and two soccer fields. And with QC’s on-campus housing in The Summit Apartments, you can enjoy the full college experience in the world’s borough.
