    Overview

The mission of Endicott College is to instill in students an understanding of and an appreciation for professional and liberal studies. Deeply woven within this philosophy is the concept of applied learning, which has been the hallmark of Endicott.

Located just north of Boston in Beverly, Massachusetts, Endicott is a small, seaside private college with a strong community and a proven experiential learning model. State-of-the-art academic facilities partner with private beaches and distinctive residential options to create a unique and fulfilling college environment for our students. Dedicated faculty and staff guide students in their growth and learning, creating experienced and confident graduates.

Endicott has a rich history: founded as an all-womens college in 1939 by Dr. Eleanor Tupper and her husband, Dr. George O. Bierkoe, Endicott has grown steadily since.

Today the Endicott campus consists of 235 acres with 53 buildings and 28 residence halls. Our student body includes traditional residential undergraduate students as well as adult learners and graduate students at satellite campuses across the state and the globe as part of the Van Loan School of Graduate and Professional Studies.

Endicott is a pioneer in internship and experiential learning. The founders vision of creating a college to educate women for greater independence and an enhanced position in the workplace was born out of wartime and a country emerging from a Great Depression. Today, these tenets are as important as ever, as graduates compete for job openings in an increasingly fast-moving marketplace. All Endicott students complete three distinct internships over the course of four years, providing work experience, building confidence, and making important industry contacts. Historically, 40-45% of our graduates receive their first career position at one of their three former internship sites.
