    Overview

    Kishwaukee College is a comprehensive, two-year college offering five transfer degrees and more than 70 occupational degrees and certificates. We serve 5,000 credit and non-credit students annually. 

    Students have the option to transfer to a 4-year institution with an Associate in Arts (A.A.) and/or Associate in Science (A.S.) with an emphasis of their choice. These degrees are fully transferable to any public university in Illinois. Transfer programs prepare students with the foundational general education coursework needed including: Mathematics, English, language sequences, AND coursework in a particular area of study (e.g. art, chemistry, communications, business, psychology, English, and more). Kishwaukee College has small class sizes (17:1), transferable programs, highly credentialed instructors, and opportunities that will boost you into the educational/career path in which you are most passionate about.

    Kishwaukee College offers the Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree and a host of certificates in programs ranging from Automated Engineering Technology to Horticulture to Welding through the Career Technologies Division. These programs prepare students with classroom knowledge AND hands-on experiences taught by skilled instructors with workforce experience in your area of study. The program curriculum is designed and approved by advisory committees composed of local and regional professionals. As the community evolves, KC programs evolve.

    With more than 70 academic programs and 30 student clubs/organizations, Kishwaukee College offers ALL students the opportunity to be successful. There is a multitude of support services designed to assist students in maximizing their potential and capturing success.
