    Overview

MCC provides credit and noncredit educational and training opportunities as well as special events for close to 60,000 participants annually. The college serves the seventh most rapidly growing county in Illinois and offers six associate's degrees and 17 Associate of Applied Science degrees.

Founded in 1967, MCC promotes a wide range of high-quality learning opportunities, enabling students to meet their educational, career and personal goals close to home at an affordable price. We serve Community College District 528. MCC has a main campus and several satellite locations.

At McHenry County College, it is our primary goal to help each student succeed. This success is driven by our students being engaged in educational activities to achieve a degree, a certificate or skills that enhance their lives. We can accomplish such success by creating a climate of community that is student centered, engaging students both inside and outside of the classroom and providing robust academic support services.
