    Overview

    As a comprehensive community college that is recognized by the Illinois Community College Board, Morton College's mission is to enhance the quality of life of our diverse community through exemplary teaching and learning opportunities, community service, and life-long learning.

    Morton College, the second oldest community college in Illinois, was founded in 1924 to meet the educational demands in the growing communities of Berwyn, Cicero, Forest View, Lyons, McCook, Stickney and other near-western suburbs. Morton College offers Career Programs --both Associate in Applied Science and Certificate Programs--, Transfer Programs, Online Learning, Adult Education and Non-Credit Programs and Courses. Morton College currently offers 37 Career Certificates, 14 Associate in Applied Science Degrees and Transfer Program Degrees.

    Attending Morton College is more than just attending classes. Getting involved in campus activities is just as equally important to your college experience. Morton College offers the opportunity to participate in activities such as campus publications, drama, social services and club activities.
