Pa'Ti Mar’s Spring Break Immersion Program offers teens an exciting opportunity to combine adventure with marine conservation in the beautiful coastal town of Rincón, Puerto Rico. This five-day, four-night program is designed for high school students who are passionate about the ocean and eager to make a difference. Participants will earn a Padi scuba certification while engaging in hands-on coral restoration activities. All while simultaniously earning 30 hrs of community service. Their trainings and volunteer hours will not only be fun to earn but will shine on any college application! Guided by experienced instructors, students will dive into vibrant reef ecosystems to learn about their importance, conduct reef surveys, and contribute directly to restoring critical habitats. The program emphasizes experiential learning and teamwork, fostering skills in marine science and environmental stewardship. Participants will also enjoy opportunities to explore Rincón’s stunning beaches, immerse themselves in the local culture, and bond with peers who share a love for the ocean. Beyond the adventure, this program offers a meaningful way to contribute to Puerto Rico’s environmental efforts. Proceeds support San Juan’s first land-based coral nursery, a vital initiative to rebuild and protect the reefs that sustain marine life and coastal communities. As a note, we will all meet in San Juan at our facilities and we will provide transport to Rincon.
