    Overview

Nova Scholar pairs high school students with graduate mentors from top universities to guide them through independent research projects. Our program develops critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, fostering intellectual curiosity and academic growth while preparing students for college and beyond.

Nova Scholar is an innovative research mentorship program that pairs high school students with graduate mentors from top-tier universities, such as Stanford, Harvard, and Yale. Our program is designed to help students explore cutting-edge topics in various fields, including biology, AI, psychology, and economics, through independent research projects. Who: We serve ambitious high school students seeking to deepen their knowledge, develop critical research skills, and gain a competitive edge in college admissions. Our mentors are graduate students with expertise in their fields who provide personalized guidance. What: Through a one-on-one mentorship model, students engage in hands-on research, learning how to formulate research questions, conduct literature reviews, design studies, and present their findings. Nova Scholar emphasizes inquiry-based learning and real-world application to foster intellectual curiosity and growth. Why: Research opportunities are often inaccessible to high school students, particularly in underserved communities. Nova Scholar aims to bridge that gap, offering students an academic experience that empowers them to stand out in a competitive admissions process while developing a passion for lifelong learning.
