    Overview

The Online Math Center (OMC) offers online math lessons for middle students (grades 5-9). Our classes can help students hone their skills in a specialty area, from algebra and number theory to discrete mathematics and combinatorics. Our curriculum reveals each student’s full potential, and our online center is on standby to connect eager students with inspiring peers and accomplished tutors.

Many students approaching middle school experience certain gaps in their mathematical foundation. Our middle school program is aimed at helping students develop core mathematical skills in order to develop fluency in algebra and geometry.

Following our unique curriculum and methodology, the OMC teacher conducts a live interactive online lesson in a five-student Zoom classroom. All students and teachers can see and hear each other during the classes. On average, there are five students in each classroom. With two difficulty levels per grade, we’re able to ensure that each child is placed in a class that is both appropriately challenging and academically nurturing.

We ensure that each child is placed in an environment best suited to their academic level. Free diagnostic tests help us discover each child’s math experience, and the specific gaps in their knowledge. These tests help determine the best level for a student to begin within the OMC curriculum.
