    Overview

Plugged In Band Program combines music education and philanthropy to create an inclusive community empowered to change the world.

We meet musicians where they are, welcoming students of all skill levels and abilities.

Through group and instructor-led practice, students leave Plugged In as more assured musicians with a keen sense of how their art is of value to their local communities.

    Our classes include:

Youth Rock Band Class- Each band consists of 3-6 students and 1 teacher and consists of drums, guitar, bass, vocals, and can also include keyboards. Bands develop a set list and work as a group, all with guidance from our trained teaching staff. Band sets can include original material and/or cover songs chosen by the students.

The World's Biggest Stage: Livestreaming 101- The World’s Biggest Stage will teach students what platforms are best for their preferred content, how to engage their audience, how to promote their content through social media, and more!

Private Music Lessons- Learn to play or improve your skills on guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, vocals, songwriting, electronic music production or digital audio production!

Intro to Digital Audio Production- In this innovative 14-week project-oriented program students will learn fundamental skills, techniques and tools to work with digital audio software.

Songwriting and Production- Students will dive into the world of songwriting and music production. They will learn the tools, techniques, and fundamentals to write lyrics and music. Plus, they will be able to bring their musical ideas to life, learning tools of sound design, engineering, and production.

Amped Up: Planning a Youth Music Festival- Amped Up students will produce their own music festival, with support from Plugged In’s teaching staff, from start to finish. They will learn everything they need to know to successfully stage a live show.

Creating Music with Coding- Creating Music with Coding is a web-based STEAM class where students learn introductory computer programming and digital audio workstation skills to compose, mix and produce electronic music.

Peace Tracks: A Cross-Cultural, Collaborative, Digital Music and Video Project for Youth- With guidance from professional musicians, young people ages 14-18 will form bands with overseas counterparts to write and produce an original song and music videos that will be live-streamed in a culminating concert.
