    Overview

    Understanding Your Money is a self-paced online course for high school students. It teachers students fundamentals in economics, how to invest, and basic money management to help students make smarter fiscal choices.

    Wharton Global Youth Program gives young individuals the chance to participate in Wharton's academic community and to inspire pre-college students to explore business practices and be the future leaders who will be gamechangers for the global economy.

    There are online videos taught by Wharton faculty, along with related reading, activities, and quizzes to test what you have learned. There are no prerequisites and you can move through the course as time and your schedule allows.

    Upon completion, students will receive a Wharton Global Youth Program certificate and be able to define and apply key economic principles, as well as learn how to budget and the basics of developing smart investing strategies.
