Gulliver Preparatory School has sustained a long tradition of excellence that fosters both the academic and personal development of every student. The highly trained members of the Gulliver faculty offer a quality education within small classes, cultivating the talents and interests of each student. Gulliver Preparatory Schools curriculum is comprised of a rigorous course of studies fundamental to a liberal arts education, supplemented by a variety of elective courses designed to complement the talents and interests of individual students.
The Academic Achievement Program (AAP) at the Miller Drive Campus accepts students with average to superior intellectual abilities. Students must meet specific testing levels. The AAP is appropriate for students who are on grade level or above grade level but not achieving at their potential. Small class sizes, direct instruction in learning strategies and organizational skills, and many other support systems provide an environment in which students can become successful with Gullivers college preparatory curriculum. Students take their academic core subjects in the morning at the Miller Drive Campus and attend the Preparatory School in the afternoon for lunch, electives and extra- curricular activities. Due to the comprehensive nature of the academic program, students must possess a level of competence in communication and social skills, as well as show evidence that emotional or behavioral issues are not a concern.
