    Overview

From preschool through the 12th grade, Prince Avenue Christian School offers a college preparatory education that promotes traditional Christian values and offers excellent academics, comprehensive fine arts, and competitive athletics.

From PreK-3 through the 12th grade, Prince Avenue Christian School offers a college preparatory education that promotes traditional Christian values and offers excellent academics, comprehensive fine arts, and competitive athletics.

The Pre-Kindergarten curriculum begins with Bible, social and community awareness, fundamental math, and early reading instruction from a phonics and phonemic awareness base. As students transition into kindergarten and continue from 1st through 5th grades, reading instruction from a phonics approach continues and is expanded with an emphasis on exposure and exploration into literature and independent reading.

At Prince Avenue Christian School, we encourage our middle school students to explore their interests while working to mold them into young men and women who follow Christ and desire to honor Him in all they do. Students are exposed to a wide range of opportunities in discipleship, academics, fine arts, and athletics.

At Prince Avenue Christian School, the high school range of courses and varying levels of academic rigor are designed to provide an individualized scholastic experience based upon a student’s ability, aptitude, and level of interest in each discipline. Personalized student/parent academic counseling sessions ensures students’ course selections are tailored to their interests and strengths all while preparing them for college.

Traditional college preparatory and honors level courses are offered in all core disciplines including eight Advanced Placement (AP) courses and fourteen Dual Enrollment classes where students earn both high school and college credit through the state’s Dual Enrollment program. Students also have the choice of taking two to four years of foreign language instruction in Spanish.
