    Overview

    The role of College Planners is to help make that decision about which college and what major, a sound, informed one that enhances the chances of a successful outcome, while at the same time minimizing its impact on family finances and more specifically, on the retirement plans of parents.

    College Planners is equipped to handle almost all aspects of the college process, including but not limited to:

    • Identification of appropriate post-secondary school education and career plans
    • Guidance on preparation for the application process
    • Exploration of colleges and universities for the student to consider in pursuit of that plan
    • Calculation of financial impact on the student's family and the Expected Family Contribution
    • Education of both students and parents about the financial aid process
    • Preparation of both the annual F.A.S.F.A. and C.S.S. Profile (if necessary)
    • Pursuit of academic, athletic, and tax-based scholarships
    • Assistance in negotiating the best financial aid package possible
    • Preparation of student resumes for part-time, summer, and post-college jobs
