    Overview

Look forward to an exciting two weeks in Colorado! Float down the Colorado River for three days of rafting in Westwater Canyon. Walk beneath the world’s most remarkable rock archways in Arches National Park, and then mountain bike your way up the world’s largest flattop mesa. Rope up and learn technical rock climbing skills as you problem-solve your way up beautiful granite and quartz crags, and then bounce down Browns Canyon of the Arkansas River via whitewater raft!

This program is designed for high school students who want to explore the great outdoors and fulfill community service hours while they're at it. The two-week trip will include 13 nights of camping outdoors, where students will be provided with comfortable tents. Here is a brief overview of the itinerary:

For the first four days, you could expect whitewater rafting on the Colorado River. The activities may include cliff jumps, paddleboarding, and hikes to Native American sites. On day five, you'll arrive at Arches National Park. Taking a sunrise hike to view the breathtaking sandstone arch formations will for sure be one of the highlights of your trip! The next two days may include mountain biking on the Grand Mesa mountain. To give back to the community, you will volunteer with a non-profit organization and restore the mountain trails. It will be a great way for high schoolers to fulfill 6 community service hours! The next few days will be filled with rock climbing, more whitewater rafting, and hiking through mountains and waterfalls. At the very end of your trip, you could expect the opportunity to look down at the beautiful scenery from the 12,713 foot Hallet Peak. It will truly be an unforgettable view.
