This program will be brought to life with a series of hands-on activities such as conducting an appraisal of an actual home on the market, filling out a residential loan application, and constructing an amortization table.
Students will begin by learning terminology and baseline knowledge essential to the real estate industry as a whole. As students move on through the program, they will explore a variety of real estate careers and real estate supplemental income. Niches explored may inclde vacation rentals, real estate banking, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), property flipping, development, and appraisal.
