    Overview

Everyone wants to feel normal. To have a sense of belonging and community. To participate in the same activities and have shared experiences with others. Our week-long summer camp is for kids between the ages of 7-16 with heart defects. Camp Bon Coeur offer a safe and fun environment for “cardiac campers” to participate in a range of activities under the supervision of our full time 24/7 nursing staff.

Kids will unplug, connect with others, and build camaraderie in this “home away from home” with opportunities for canoeing, swimming, sports, art, archery and teambuilding to help them grow their personal development skills. Lodging is bunk-style rooms with a common area, infirmary, and communal restrooms in one building. Bunk rooms (or “cabins”) are separated by age and gender, with a counselor assigned to each.

Space is limited to 60 campers.
