    Overview

Founded in 1957 by Joel Wolfson and David Silverman, Camp W*K is a co-ed, overnight camp for children ages 7 – 15 that offers a unique experience. It is a place where campers are inspired by community, as much as they are by the beautiful backdrop that is Cape Cod.

Camp W*K located in Cape Cod is a place where campers feel supported and empowered. They belong to a community that fosters respect for everybody, regardless of their differences. We provide a program of choice that invites camper feedback and input, and a belief that everyone has something special to offer.

The W*K community is small and nurturing, with ~200 campers and a staff-camper ratio of 1:3. We offer a full range of traditional camp activities such as swimming, sailing, archery, woodshop, arts & crafts, music, performing arts and sports however we also offer zany stuff like Balloon Animal Hospital, Whistle Choir, Nature You Can Eat, Tennis Baseball, Zombie Hunters, How to Train a Dragon, and Ethical Dilemmas.

We think our Daily Choice program is one of the most unique ideas anywhere in camping today. Campers are empowered to choose their own schedule, design their own summer. Our program invites camper feedback and input, with a belief that everyone has something special to offer.

Camp W*K is peanut, tree-nut and sesame free. We easily accommodate gluten-free, dairy, wheat, soy, egg, and fish allergies. Vegans or Vegetarians also appreciate our menu options.

We believe that when children are part of a kind, supportive and respectful community, they feel free to step out of their comfort-zone and try new things without the fear of failure. W*K is that community. Camper safety and developing life skills are our priorities.
