    Overview

Located on 140 acres of wooded Chesapeake Bay front property, Camp Wright has been the center of youth and young adult formation in the Episcopal Diocese of Easton since 1930. Camp Wright is place where we find connection: with self, others, God, and the natural world.

The rustic setting of Camp Wright encourages campers to disconnect from devices so they can reconnect to themselves, their fellow campers and the beautiful outdoor setting of all our camp activities. Bathroom facilities are located in a common bath house and resident campers and staff live in simple three-season cabins with bunk beds.  (That means no electricity. Pack your flashlight!)

?Each summer camp session includes a variety of activities chosen by the campers, including sports, field activities, archery, swimming in our junior olympic swimming pool, arts and crafts, kayaking and sailing on the Chesapeake Bay, dancing, drama, large group themed activities and much more. We encourage campers to try out new things to build independence and self-confidence in a fun and supportive environment.

?At our camps, we set aside time each day for Devotion where we sing songs, tell stories, and seek God in our daily experiences. Serendipity, our christian education program, focuses on values and choosing love as the way to honor God, our neighbor, and to be good stewards of our earth.
