    Overview

Every July, teenagers gather at Csehy Summer School of Music from all across the USA and internationally. Though the camp schedule has different times for music, spiritual, and campus life, the entirety of the Csehy Experience is aimed at nurturing musical disciples to the end that every note, measure and phrase as well as every conversation, meal and prayer would be to the glory of our sovereign God.

What does a week at Csehy look like? Each week, Csehy provides an average of 34 hours of instructional programming.  18 hours of ensemble rehearsal, 1 hour of private instruction, 3 hours of classroom instruction, 3 hours of concert and recital programming, 9 hours of sing time, chapel, and devotions, plus 10 hours of individual practice and endless hours of fun! Csehy offers three different programs: (1) High School sessions: The high school program runs for 3 weeks each summer, each week from Sunday to Saturday. Students may attend for just 1 or 2 weeks, or for the whole 3-week session. (2) The middle school program is a 6-day program running from Sunday to Friday evening. Day camper options are available. (3) ChamberFest was established as an honor for our upper level musicians. Prospective ChamberFest students must submit an audition video. The purpose of ChamberFest is to give participants an opportunity to work in chamber ensembles with musicians of equal caliber on advanced repertoire and to train them as musical and spiritual leaders. ChamberFest students work and perform in chamber groups and are mentored by a faculty coach throughout the week. ChamberFest campers are required to attend at least 1-week of the High School sessions.
