    Overview

Students will learn about robotics design, manufacturing, and automation. Classroom discussions will be focused on key aspects/issues of robotics, such as: sensing, actuation, control, and embedded programming.

Students will work in groups to build a mobile robot that can be teleoperated with some onboard autonomy. At the end of the program, students will test their robots against each other in a specifically designed course.

Students should have completed coursework in physics, math (precalculus is a plus but not required), as well as C programming or Autocad.
