    Overview

This is an amazing opportunity for 9th to 12th grade students to explore Spain for 17 days and engage in community service projects. Students can also look forward to learning more about Spanish culture, sustainability, and challenges faced by immigrants.

Over 17 days, students will visit beautiful landmarks across Spain and be involved in wildlife and environmental initiatives.

Global Works will be organizing a group flight departing from New York's JFK airport. Once students arrive in Madrid, they will travel to Sebulcor to attend orientation. Over the next few days, students will kayak, hike, and engage in team-building activities. Then they will begin their service projects alongside local community members. Through this program, students can expect to earn up to 45 community service hours.

Sightseeing destinations may include the Segovia Cathedral, the Plaza Mayor, the Prado Museum, and much more! Students will also have plenty of opportunities to improve their Spanish through public speaking and interpersonal communication. The trip will end with a celebratory dinner and relaxing on the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea.
