This summer, tackle college-level engineering courses alongside creative and bright students from around the world through on-campus and online courses.
At Johns Hopkins Engineering Innovation Pre-College Programs, talented high school students, who have a passion for math, science, and technology, can explore a variety of engineering disciplines and career paths. Each of our programs gives our students the power to create the future they envision as engineers starting in high school while earning college credit from our top-tier research university.
Whether they travel to experience life on-campus or engage in learning from home, Engineering Innovation empowers high school students to start making their own way in the world.
At Explore Engineering Innovation, students gain confidence as they attend college-level lectures, solve problems, test theories, and ultimately learn to think like an engineer. They explore multiple engineering fields, including civil, chemical, mechanical, electrical, computer, and materials science. Available as a residential, commuter, or online summer pre-college program.
During Biomedical Engineering Innovation, students are challenged to dive into modeling biological systems and designing experiments to test them in this asynchronous course designed by the faculty of the nation’s number one biomedical engineering program. Available as an online pre-college program during the summer and fall.
At Sustainable Energy Engineering, students interested in sustainability can build an understanding of sources of energy, energy storage, and transfer, and the impact of social and political factors on sustainable energy today and beyond. Available as a residential or commuter summer pre-college program.
No matter which program they choose, students make connections and work collaboratively on hands-on projects that introduce them to rigorous and exciting college-level engineering courses.
