Explore the application of AI to various visual art fields such as drawing, painting, fashion, sculpture, film, in this virtual spring break camp for 5th – 12th graders, under the tutelage of MehtA+ instructors. Students will be learning how various AI models and concepts – Convolutional Neural Networks, Variational Autoencoders, Generative Adversarial Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks, Transformers and Dimensional Reduction – work in the context of visual art domain.

This is an asynchronous camp so students will watch the lectures on their own time and then work on group projects with their peers and instructors during class time.

Students will join the AI art revolution by creating and curating their own AI + Art Galleries. Towards the end of the camp, students will also be participating in the 100K MehtA+ Money Startup Pitch Competition where they will work in groups of 3-4 to pitch startup ideas related to AI + Visual Arts.  Students who successfully complete the camp will receive a certificate.

    No prior experience is required.
