    Overview

    Step back in time to June 6, 1944, and experience one of the most significant days in military history—the Allied invasion of Normandy. At Missouri S&T's World War II Reenactment Camp, you will reenact key historical battles, learn battle tactics, and understand the leadership principles that guided soldiers during the intense days of World War II.

    This immersive experience gives campers the chance to live out history as they participate in reenactments of pivotal battles that helped shape the outcome of the war. Through hands-on activities and interactive lessons, you will discover what it was like to fight in one of the most challenging military campaigns in history.

    Camp Activities Include:

    • Learning the history behind the Normandy Invasion and the strategic battles to secure Cherbourg, Caen, and other critical areas in Northern France
    • Strategizing and creating battle plans to outmaneuver the enemy
    • Reenacting key tactics and maneuvers used by both Allied and German troops
    • Discovering the daily life of soldiers, the hardships they faced, and the gear they carried into battle
    • Interacting with seasoned reenactors and special guests who bring history to life

    This camp offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of military strategy and history, all while honoring the bravery and sacrifices of those who fought in World War II.
