Outside the classroom, you will get an authentic taste of college life while building lasting friendships.

Biotechnology — Explore the diverse and growing field of biotechnology, a field of study that uses living organisms or their parts to create products or processes.
Cancer Biology — Learn how molecular biology informs cancer research.
Creative Writing — Immerse yourself in contemporary literature and discover how it informs your writing.
Dental Sciences — Gain hands-on experience in Stony Brook’s advanced preclinical laboratory, watch demonstrations in the state-of-the-art Center for Implant and Dental Technology (CIDT), and discover what it’s like to be a dental student.
Filmmaking — Take command of your storytelling journey from the blueprint of a micro screenplay to the final cut of your film with visual storytelling as the cornerstone.
Health Professions — Learn from nationally known experts about the vast array of careers in healthcare. Explore pathways to many rewarding careers in health and discover what it takes to become a successful member of an interprofessional healthcare team.
Machine Learning and Self-Driving — Enter the exciting world of artificial intelligence and learn the basics of self-driving concepts, machine learning algorithms, neural network architecture, and data analysis techniques.

Life On Campus
Outside of class, you will enjoy social activities, develop lasting friendships, and get a taste of college life on campus.
To be accepted into this program, you must be a rising junior or senior in good academic standing. For 2025, this program is open only to US residents between the ages of 15 and 17.
The program consists of four one-week sessions.
- Session One: July 6 - 11
- Session Two: July 13-18
- Session Three: July 20-25
- Session Four: July 27- August 1
Program Cost: $2,250.
A limited number of scholarships are available to offset the program costs for students with demonstrated need. The Scholarships are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
