For six decades, Summer Discovery has offered transformative summer programs worldwide at prestigious university campuses. Our immersive academic enrichment spans High School (Grades 9-12), Middle School (Grades 6-8), and Institute for the Gifted (SIG, Grades 1-12) programs. Balancing academics with personal growth, we provide over 300 courses across 15 campuses for 2-6 weeks.

For nearly six decades, Summer Discovery has welcomed students from around the world into our transformational summer enrichment programs.We offer the most immersive, inspired, and unforgettable summer experiences at the most prestigious university campuses across the country. Located in world-famous locations that are perfect for travel and adventure, we offer three distinct Summer Discovery academic enrichment programs:

• High School: Grades 9-12
• Middle School: Grades 6-8
• Institute for the Gifted (SIG): Grades 1-12

Summer Discovery is the only summer program that provides the important balance between academic exploration, personal development, self-discovery, and once-in-a-lifetime memory- making adventures.We create a safe space where students are encouraged to be their authentic selves. A summer where coursework is challenging, interactive, and hands-on.Summer Discovery offers separate academic enrichment programs that are flexible, allowing every student the opportunity to create a completely customized experience. Students can choose from:

Our Summer Discovery High School & Middle School summer programs balance immersive and fun academic programming with off-campus adventures, travel, and city exploration. Students visit local hot spots, city landmarks, sporting events, theme parks, and more.

Our high school program focuses on college preparedness where students are academically encouraged to explore current interests and discover new ones before declaring a major freshman year. Students also experience what residential life on a college campus will be like – as they build invaluable life skills for college, and beyond.

Our Summer Discovery Institute for the Gifted program offers talented and creative students an unparalleled academic curriculum that is challenging, interactive, and hands-on. Students will thrive in a safe and nurturing environment while also building essential life skills – like leadership, communication, teamwork, and self advocacy. Outside the classroom, we provide a balanced experience helping students develop friendships, build self confidence, and embark on fun adventures.

To complement our world-class curriculum, we leverage our travel expertise to provide exceptional travel and adventure experiences. Students immerse themselves in brand new communities in incredible cities and towns with visits to local hot spots, landmarks, sporting events, cultural activities, theme parks, and more. Pairing these activities with on campus events and residential life creates a completely immersive summer experience both inside and outside the classroom.
