    Overview

Immerse yourself in the fast-paced world of media and communications. Produce live radio content on 88.9FM WQSU, Susquehanna University’s award-winning radio station, and learn cutting-edge audio and video production techniques. You’ll understand the creative process successful brands use to persuade, inform, educate, and entertain through the hands-on sessions presented by media professionals and full-time faculty.

Throughout this program, students will attend daily seminars and workshops to improve their skills and better understand the use of communication in a professional setting. With the help from media professionals and Susquehanna faculty, students will produce a one-hour radio broadcast. They can also expect to learn on-air interviewing techniques, master Adobe Creative Suite, and practice journalistic formats. There will be plenty of chances to network with industry professionals and meet current students studying communications at Susquehanna University. By the end of the week, students will have a completed digital portfolio of the work they completed. Furthermore, they will enjoy pizza parties, off-campus trips, and events to emulate the college experience.
