    Overview

We welcome a diverse community of young artists to our beautiful hillside campus for unique workshops where students are inspired to express their truest selves through art. With more than 20 workshops to choose from, students spend four weeks in a tight-knit, supportive community. We stress the importance of practice, exploration and finding joy in art-making, which organically leads to a portfolio that is an authentic representation of a student’s passion, skill and growth.

Workshops are designed for students at all levels of experience and focus on each student’s individual trajectory. Students select two workshops as their main focus, and each workshop meets for three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon.

We also enjoy artist talks, open studio time, field trips, a film festival and an overnight camping trip into the woodlands surrounding our working dairy farm in southern Vermont. There will be time for bonding with new people, deepening friendships, and self reflecting as you create and connect with nature and each other through art.
