    Overview

The Tikvah Scholars Program at Yale University is an 11-day residential summer institute in Jewish thought, philosophy, and politics for current 10th and 11th graders. The program brings together hundreds of Jewish teens from around the world each summer, who come to study the greatest texts in the Jewish and Western canon, and who want to explore how Judaism informs – and challenges – Western ideas.

Tikvah Scholars are intellectually curious students interested in grappling with big questions and vigorous debate. Eligible applicants come from a variety of Jewish and educational backgrounds. Courses will accommodate students with different levels of Jewish education. A daily schedule includes seminars, extracurricular activities, and night activities.
