    Overview

The Tom Sawyer Junior Counselor Program is a leadership program for 9th and 10th graders. Being a Junior Counselor (JC) at camp is a wonderful way to spend the summer – developing many invaluable life skills! There is no cost for this program and many Junior Counselors use their experience at camp to fulfill any school-required community service hours as this is an unpaid position.

We are a Pasadena Summer Camp that provides a fun outdoor, unplugged, adventure experience for our campers! Our Junior Counselor program provides young high school students the opportunity to learn how to work with kids, be a leader and role model, learn valuable life skills, help kids during activities such as: horseback riding, swimming, archery, etc., and much more...all while having FUN! To become a Junior Counselor you fill out an online application and come to one of our group interviews. Junior Counselors agree to be with us for one full session and come to our training before camp starts. There is no fee to become a Junior Counselor. More information can be found on our website. We hope you will consider joining us for a summer of FUN!
