    Overview

The LIT program is a four-week training program. Participants spend the first two weeks learning to manage a cabin group. LITs learn about working with children of different ages and abilities, group dynamics, and behavior and adjustment issues. LITs become certified through the American Red Cross in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding. A two-week apprenticeship with an experienced staff member offers supervised practive. Countless Takodah alumni tell us that LIT was their best year of camp!
