    Overview

Since 1976, the mission of the Chattahoochee Nature Center is to connect people with nature through 127 acres of forest, wetland, and river habitat. Volunteer opportunities include the High School Leadership in Training program, educational programs, horticulture programs, and more!

Volunteers are an essential part of the Chattahoochee Nature Center, with opportunities available across various departments. Those under 18 must have a parent complete the Volunteer Application and Waiver. If a parent isn’t attending, the waiver must be submitted before the event. For volunteers ages 12-15, groups must have one adult for every eight youth. Check the available opportunities to get involved!
