Children’s Cove provides compassionate, comprehensive, and collaborative response services at no cost to survivors of child abuse through its evidence-based programs, network of community partnerships, educational outreach and awareness efforts. Its multidisciplinary team works together to empower survivors, promote healthy outcomes, and help mitigate the stigma of child abuse.
Children’s Cove Teen TASK (Taking a Stand for Kids) Force is a group for high school students who raise awareness for the programs and services of the agency. The mission of the Teen TASK Force is to engage teens by empowering them to advocate for Children’s Cove and to educate their peers on child abuse issues. Teen TASK Force members will meet throughout the school year learn about issues facing our community, as well as complete a project to raise awareness in their school and community.
The Children’s Cove Teen TASK Force identifies, trains and supports teen peer leaders in our Cape Cod & Island community who can be a trusted confidant to those who may not seek out support from adults, caregivers or authorities and spread the word about this epidemic in their school and community.
If you are a high school student on Cape Cod who wants to:
