    Overview

Comfort Zone Camp is a bereavement camp that transforms the lives of children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver.

Comfort Zone is powered by our tremendous volunteer base. Volunteers from our local communities (and beyond!) are a key ingredient in both the success of the children who come to our programs and in keeping our programs free of charge to all who attend. All volunteers are thoroughly screened and must submit to background checks and 6 hours of training. A wide range of volunteer opportunities exist at Comfort Zone, including: Outreach and event support Pre-camp program support Camp weekend support Big Buddy (mentor) roles Healing Circle Leader (therapist) roles (Trained professionals only) Healing Circle Assistants Board Member roles Committee
