    Overview

    Habitat for Humanity New York City transforms lives and communities by building and preserving affordable homes with families in need, and by uniting all New Yorkers around the cause of affordable housing.

    We have volunteer opportunities from the construction site to the office suite. All you need is enthusiasm; we’ll teach you everything you need to know. We welcome volunteers 14 and up to A Brush with Kindness sites and the ReStore, and volunteers 16 and up to our construction sites. 

    All volunteers under age 18 must have a signed waiver from a parent/guardian. 

    ReStore volunteers ages 14 – 15 must have a parent/guardian volunteering with them at all times. As per New York law, no one under age 16 can volunteer on construction sites.
