Heart House is a nonprofit with a mission to use education as a catalyst to combat poverty and promote equity for the most vulnerable in our city: refugee children.
We are grateful for your interest in volunteering at Heart House.
After school volunteer: Choose weekly 2-3 hour shift(s) to help our students with homework, social- emotional learning and academic-based learning topics. Volunteers and mentors with direct youth engagement experience are highly needed.
Summer volunteer: Similar programming as the after-school program with hours in the morning. Participate in reading circles, health and wellness activities and field trips.
