    Overview

Heart House is an education non-profit that serves refugee, immigrant, and under-resourced children with a holistic out-of-school and summer program, utilizing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) to help them thrive in their new community. We’re dedicated to meeting the academic and emotional needs of refugee and immigrant children.

We are grateful for your interest in volunteering at Heart House.

After school volunteer: Choose weekly 2-3 hour shift(s) to help our students with homework, social- emotional learning and academic-based learning topics. Volunteers and mentors with direct youth engagement experience are highly needed.

Summer volunteer: Similar programming as the after-school program with hours in the morning. Participate in reading circles, health and wellness activities and field trips.
