Located in the heart of Atlanta, the High Museum of Art connects with audiences from across the Southeast and around the world through its distinguished collection, dynamic schedule of special exhibitions and engaging community-focused programs.
The High Museum of Art's Teen Team is a group of creative high school students who share a common interest in art and community engagement.
The High Museum of Art’s Teen Team is a group of fifteen creative high school students who share a common interest in art and community engagement. The Teen Team offers participants the opportunity to engage with art, culture, and history; develop workplace and team-building skills; and learn about a range of professional options and career paths. The Teen Team gets behind-the-scenes access to the Museum; assists in planning Teen Nights, events, and other public programming; and learns about the Museum’s exhibitions and collections.
During the summer intensive, Teen Team members will work on a summer project while learning about the Museum’s collections, careers, and programs. Throughout the school year, Teen Team members will continue to assist in developing and implementing programming for teens, youths, and families. While part of the Teen Team program, members meet with High Museum staff, arts professionals, and other teens.
Teen Team is a year-round commitment and a paid position.
Who can apply? Rising high school juniors and seniors enrolled for the upcoming school year are eligible to apply.
