    Who?

We seek passionate young adults ready to make an impact, learn, and grow. You'll be working alongside other volunteers, fellows, and community members in a supportive, collaborative environment. Our staff and fellows will mentor you throughout your stay, ensuring professional development and meaningful engagement with the local community.

    What?

Volunteers dive into hands-on projects in sustainability, public health, education, and ecotourism. You could be maintaining trails, running workshops on things like dental hygiene or the water table, teaching English, or helping local entrepreneurs grow their businesses. Every day, you'll work directly with the indigenous community, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting long-term social change. Curious about specific opportunities? Ask us about our programs in sustainability, public health, education, and environmental entrepreneurship!

    Why?

This experience isn’t just about service—it's about personal growth, adventure, and building lasting connections. You’ll develop professional skills, learn Spanish and Kichwa, and explore one of the most unique environments in the world. Plus, you’ll immerse yourself in the local culture through activities like chocolate making, community builds, and homestays. It’s a chance to see the world, make an impact, and discover your own path forward. Living and Learning Volunteers live together in a community house with shared rooms, ample sunlight, a rooftop deck with panoramic views of the Amazon Rainforest, and space to cook group meals.

For deeper immersion, you can choose a 1-2 week homestay with a local family. Throughout your stay, you'll have 24/7 support and weekly one-on-one check-ins with mentors to guide your experience. Outside Work Experiences Outside of the internship, interns have the opportunity to go hiking in the Amazon, go to local natural pools like La Laguna Azul, visit Kichwa festivals and be immersed in Kichwa music, dance, and culture, join their neighbors in nighttime soccer, volleyball, and basketball games, white water raft down the Napo River, and visit natural thermal pools.
