    Overview

To fill the gap between formal education and home life, the Salvation Army of Metro Atlanta offers specialized youth programs for kids 6-18 years old.

By supporting overall physical, emotional and spiritual well being, our programs address life skills and character development in a safe setting – helping more than 3,000 kids to reach their greater potential each year. These programs include:

The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs: We operate three Boys and Girls Clubs in metro Atlanta, located in communities that have a higher population of economically disadvantaged youth. We offer a safe environment for all kids to participate in constructive activities and channel youthful energy into challenging pursuits. Club programming focuses on building character and leadership, promoting healthy lifestyles, championing academic success, fostering family engagement and encouraging spiritually.

Corps-based Youth Programs: Our 7 metro area Salvation Army worship centers (corps) offer youth character-building programs year-round.
