    Overview

    Written Translation Volunteers will support the United Jewish Council of the East Side by translating programs, newsletters, and memos into Chinese or Spanish. They must be fluent in written English and either Chinese or Spanish. This remote position offers a flexible schedule, with weekly or monthly assignments. An ongoing commitment is encouraged. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and have email, internet access, and word processing software.

    The United Jewish Council of the East Side (UJCES) supports the Lower East Side and wider NYC community with human services and community development programs. While the majority of services are oriented to older adults, UJCES also has programs for families and children. UJCES volunteers are essential to our mission as we serve New Yorkers.
